At the base of Alyeska · Girdwood, Alaska
Specialty coffee, beer & wine, live music — where every run ends well.
Our Story
Girdwood sits in North America's northernmost rainforest, ringed by the Chugach peaks that hold their snow deep into spring. Alpenglow Coffee House is the A-frame at the base of it all — the place you stop before the lifts open and linger long after they close.
We're a full-service coffee shop with specialty espresso, functional drinks, house-made chai, and a full beer and wine bar. On the first Friday of every month we open a new local art show with live music. Year-round, local art lines the walls.
Skis lean against the deck. Dogs are welcome. The view from the porch hasn't gotten old.
Find UsLive at Alpenglow
Every first Friday of the month we open a new local artist's show on the walls — with live music starting at 6pm. The art stays up for the full month.
We also host the Girdwood Forest Fair's famous hand-painted pins every Wednesday evening April through the Fair weekend in July.

Every year at the Girdwood Forest Fair, tiny hand-painted pins are given away free to anyone who wants one. Every single one is painted here at Alpenglow.
Starting April 1st, the community gathers every Wednesday evening to paint. No experience needed — just show up, grab a brush, and make something for a stranger to find at the Fair.
